Interesting pick up. Not the bulk that they need, but definitely a good guy to have off the bench.

Great signing IMO. Battier is a great leader, can play good defense, and you don't need to run anything for him. No negatives to this signing. They are also signing Eddy Curry, I am interested to see what he looks like.

I agree. It is a great pick-up. Good to see them being smart with their money this year. This type of signing will really help come May and June. Great defense and can hit big shots. Remings me a lot of Robert Horry, just not quite as much size.

battier is a solid guy and a great leader on a team as well.
i think its a great pickup for them if not only for his lockerroom leadership
