Okay I have a question. What is the robot looking thing you see half way through the trailer. It almost looks like the robots they to defuse IED's. Does anyone know what I am taking about?

I saw it..wondering that as well. Maybe to defuse bases in Rush.

It was the EOD robot listed on the fact sheet I posted yesterday. At least I think I posted that page, I'll go back and check it out.

Yea, it was under the "Soldier Equipment" section and it has to be the "EOD Bot". EOD =Explosive Ordnance Disposal if you didn't already know which is why it looks like something they used to blow up explosives.

Granted none of us know how it works, I just hope it isn't given to snipers so they can just sit back even more now while having a freaking robot run out for them. I'll wait until I actually know what's going on and how it works to complain haha.

From what people are saying, it doesn't have a weapon. It is something that will hardly be used.

Battlefield 3 win game of show at Gamescom. Not surprising at all.

I feel like I'm not into this enough.

It would never cross my mind to buy a headset, a $100 headset, for a specific game. If the people I'm going to be going against are as hardcore as you all, I'm beyond effed.

I already have a headset but this one is nicer than mine. It is great for all games. Not just BF. I was just saying I am going to get them before BF comes out.

You can get good headsets for cheaper. Then you can turn your TV all the way down, and enjoy the pure epicness of sounds you can't get out of your TV. I'm talking Dolby 7.1 sound in a headset that is also a mic.

Holtz, I haven't been a PC gamer for about 5 or 6 years. I played BF2, but never with a mic. What kind of mic do you recommend for PC BF3? Also, is it the same as console as far as talking to your squad? I see some PC gamers mention Voip?

I'll probably make these kind of decisions after I give BF2 a run for a little bit. Think it's super cheap by now?

You can probably get the Ultimate Edition for $30. They don't make BF2 for consoles, make sure you get Bad Company 2. You are on XBOX right? Hook up with Lesticals and he will show you the ropes. This isn't like COD, there is a learning curve and you will have to be patient. If you are, you will never play COD again.
