Agreed but I am trying to keep my expectations in check. Sometimes I get to excited and the game is a letdown no matter how good it is.

yeah everytime i go into gamestop they try and sell it to me and i just reply with a no i am a battlefield fan. He just says yeah man if you like all that real warfare strategic type of gaming then its for you. I want to reply oh you mean the kind that takes skill to play? lol.

There are a lot of people that will play the beta over Gears. Besides it is about improving the game so get it out as soon as possible so they can make adjustments before the release if necassary.

I bet ya Microsoft wouldnt like something taking the shine away from their big time deal....especially since it was released that all of the downloadable skins would cost like 45 bucks. People are freaking out about the price.

For gears. For just WEAPON SKINS they are charging like 45 bucks. The sucky thing is that it isnt even DLC its already on the disc and you are just paying to unlock them

I was hoping but that is what I was expecting. All signs pointing to the beta date being announced tomorrow. I am hoping the beta starts tomorrow but more likely it will start next Tuesday for the 48 hour closed beta.
