MW3 targets kids. Battlefield targets skilled players that know how to work as a team. There are no childish killstreaks, there is bullet drop, no aim assist so you actually have to know how to aim, vehicles that are well balanced, 1 battlefield map would hold about 10 COD maps(Not kidding).

After you pilot a chopper for the first time and go flipping backwards, you will be addicted because you will really want to master that chopper. In COD you call in an air strike. In BF you are the air strike.

I agree they need to come up with a way to get a recon more points for helping out his team in a meaningful way.

The way it was in BC the only way to rack up points as a recon was to either hang way back and get marksman points or switch to a shotgun or battle rifle and get right up in the action. They didn't really reward you for playing at medium range.

I agree with everything you said here, but I wanted to add one thing...

I like both call of duty and battlefield games, and I feel like they are both fun to play. What I have noticed is it is fun to play call of duty when you are by yourself or with 1 other person because you can take over a match by yourself if your good, and with two good people its almost game over before it starts, unless your playing another group.

Battlefield on the otherhand I won't play unless there are atleast two other people with me. That game is purely squad based and extremely strategic. If you are alone you will have a hard time winning matches. My experience with bf is that if your in a group with random people no one communicates which means you lose...

But again I like both games and think they both accomplish what they were made for.

Hey Mountie I know you will get a kick out of this. This is the same website that said buy Modern Warfare 3 instead of Battlefield 3. Now they are saying if you do buy it make sure you buy it for 360. I guess I shouldn't expect a website called Planet Xbox to be objective.

I love when he says that unless you have a $3,000 PC it will only look marginally better than xbox. He also forgot to mention PC having 64 players. That was seriously the worst outbreak of fanboyism I have ever seen. I hope I did not become contaminated by reading that.

Also, I see absolutely no difference between the free PSN and $60 XBOX Live except for party chat. That is it. This coming from a guy that likes both PS3 and XBOX.

$3000 PC? Is that guy high? I could build one at $1300 and run BF3 at the highest levels. Probably even cheaper than that if I didn't want all the bells and whistles.

He said it would take a week to download the DLC on the PS3, so the PS3 getting DLC a week earlier wouldn't matter. Ummm.... Again, coming from someone that likes both consoles, the DLC times are VERY similar.
