  • So I guess AT&T was knocked out widespread in my area last night and into this afternoon. Thank god it's fixed.

    I went Friday to Tuesday without internet. Scheduled to have a tech guy come out Tuesday between 5-8. I left work early to make sure someone was home, came home to my internet working... strange, but only for five minutes, then it went out again. It would turn on for five minutes then turn back off for five minutes, until the tech comes.

    Hes there for like five minutes before telling me that its a problem with the line coming into the apartment and that he'd schedule a line technician to fix things sometime in the next 24-48 hours. Just be to sure, he checked the signal at every point between my living room and the outside connection and the results were the same.

    Five minutes after he leaves, the internet is on and stays on without a hitch.

    Moral of the story? I hate cable companies.

    I posted last night that my internet was turrribly slow and just decided to get off the computer. Fast forward to this morning when I arrived at work and noticed that there was no internet connection. Called our office and they said that all the subway's in my area were having the same problem and that AT&T was out trying to fix it. So it was a widespread problem.

    Then about 3pm everything came back on and has been running fine since.

    Yes. Most everyone in this thread is on PS3. We play almost nightly.

    Man, I have had games where I've had to swap squads 2 or 3 times because of dumbasses just sitting in an AA gun shooting at the sun and more stupid stuff.

    You'll get up to speed soon enough. I got it about 6 months after it came out and was behind pretty much everybody for a while. Then Vexerr invited me to play with these assholes and things took off. I refused to fly anything for a long time too. I decided that after the longest I could keep a havoc up in the air was about 3 seconds after my first 10 attempts. Since then I heave learned to fly helicopters. The best way to do it is to tackle learning one air vehicle at a time in my experience. I will def be on tonight, been enjoying playing again despite putting up with worthless blue dots. Yes I realize saying worthless and blue dot is redundant.

    That is one thing I have been pretty successful at so far. I don't like to call it suicidal, but the first few times I played there was nothing else to call it. I've gotten better though.
