Being an Alabama fan has ruined my college football experience

And I'm none too happy about it. It sucks. It's so effing boring. You know what I was doing when the 2nd quarter started today? Just kinda messing around with my phone. I'd look up at the TV when I heard the announcers get excited then I'd go back to piddlin around. I remember when the ups and downs of a game, a season was exciting and heart stopping. Not anymore. Nick Saban has took my experience. Alabama just straight Merks people now. Its boring. Who or what is supposed to excite me? LSU? Yeah....no. Texas A&M? Nope a potential matchup with Florida? that will be pillage.
Nope, I can't even be happy that Auburn lost today because their fans have finally accepted they're terrible. Someone page me when the games not out of hand going into halftime so I might be able to find that excitement again. I'm sure you peasants wish you were Alabama but I'm here to tell you, it's lonely at the top.

Agreed, 08 season was one of my favorite seasons as a Bama fan even though we lost to Florida and Utah. I still don't know how we got our buts handed to us by Utah in the way we did.

Write a letter to Alabama's AD and tell him that there's no need to schedule like when
Alabama was recovering from NCAA sanctions in the mid 90's and early 2000's.
No need to play Samford and Son and 2 other high school teams every year anymore.
Remind him that with the over-signing Saban has done since arriving in 2007, he actually signs 5 classes
every 4 years, so with all of that legal cheating and roster supplementing, Alabama should be willing to take on anyone, anytime, anywhere.
Oh, and tell him to schedule a good team on the road, nothing like beating a good team in their house.
That should reduce your boredom.
