This is easy... Petrino. He is one of the best coaches in the SEC period and he barely recruits.

I'd go with Spurrier at the Cocks or Richt with the Dawgs.
You win titles in the SEC by running the football.
Petrino isn't smart enough to figure that out.
That's why he'll continually be the 3rd best in the West (at best).

If the sole fact that UF decided to be relevant for the past 20 years makes a Gump think they are our chief rival... well then I can't help you.
Case in point... We fire coaches who lose to GT. We fire coaches who lose to Auburn.
We care about losing to UF, but it isn't going to cost anyone their job (therefor being third in the pecking order).
What team would Bama lose to and get the quick axe?

He doesn't run the football. And that never gets it done in the SEC.
Look at the SEC Champs rushing TD totals the past 6 seasons.
Look where Petrino ranks. He'll always be third fiddle.
