Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2 were good too. But, IMO, the best cop series is Die Hard.

All 15 movies on my list have main characters on both sides
All can be considered cop movies iyam
Also The Boondock Saints killed gangsters and weren't really gangsters themselves fyi
