Best High School Team

Bosco doesn't lose in down years, they sure as hell weren't gonna lose with the stacked team they had last year. There defense was unreal, they had Peppers, Wright, Shumate and Hamilton.

Yeah, but this year they are down. I don't even think Bosco is a top-25 team right now. They lost a TON of good players, and I think one of their coaches is about to become a GA at Rutgers.

They still have a lot of talent, but nationally, they are off the map (this year).

  • Eastern Christian Academy of Elkton Maryland has 10+ legit D1 prospects on their team this year including Kenny Bigelow, Khaliel Rodgers, and DB Jahmere Irvin-Sills who just committed to Auburn. Their '14 and '15 classes may be even more impressive. But, like Cass Tech, I'd doubt they are even one of the top 50(maybe 100) best teams in the country.

That looks like our middle school fields in Texas. Is that all y'all have?

Any given year the D-1 state champ in Ohio is as good as anyone.

Except the Texas, California, Florida, or Georgia state champ.

Up north we tend to use a lot of the money on the actual school. You know, for education and what not.

They had most of these guys last year and they didn't do too well. This year, they play an even harder schedule. Don't count on that.

BTW, Red Lion/Eastern Christian is one program that we should all look out for... for all the wrong reasons. No way that program is legit.

    It's a practice facility.

Like I said, major collection of talent but the team isn't all that great.

IIRC they don't even have a real campus it's a virtual school. But hey Tim Tebow was home schooled and play for Nease so anything is possible.

Fl speed and goon level>>>>>>>>>>nothern prep schoolers

You don't understand. Don Bosco is ran at an NFL level intensity and has tons of D1 players. They have SEC speed as they say.

Lol whatever you say partner. I guess the ONLY good football is played down south and in California. Or at least you think. Ohio produces more pro's per capita than any other state in the country other than Georgia. Try watching the Herbstreit Classic where our teams annually are competitive with the whole rest of the country. Keep in mind I simply said that the D-1 champ here is typically as good as anyone, I didn't try to say that Ohio is BETTER than everyone else.

I watched the game against Manttee(Fl). Armwood would have beaten DB by 2 scores.

    L3
    Matt Jones
    Eric Striker
    Alvin Bailey
    Jarvis McCall
    Sheldon Lewison
    Cody Waldrop

just naming a few BCS kids.

OK, try Alquandin Muhammad, Yuri Wright, Elijah Shumate, Jabrill Peppers, Darius Hamilton, Leonte Carroo, and a bunch of other D1 prospects.

They are supposedly building the school right now. I would love to see what kind of "classes" their players are taking.

Last year nobody did or would have beaten Bosco. I'm shocked Nova hasn't touched this thread..

They are down this year and losing Peppers really is going to hurt them, but they'll still go undefeated probably and win states and end up ranked pretty high I bet. That program is just run at a different level than most HS programs and they always find new talent. Last year no one would have touched them though, they were just too good. Bosco has only lost once in the last six years, they reload like no other program.

Best team in the country is Grayson

    NOOOOOOOO !!

Do NOT say that just because of RN. He is honestly not even the most overwhelming player that the scouts are making him seem. Played my team in person and honestly he is just huge, there is nothing super duper special about him. Grayson beat my team 6-0 and if we had any type of QB play we would have beat them with ease.

LOL. Someone downvoted me for questioning a school who currently has no physical address and who's sole purpose is to collect D1 talent. Yeah, there's nothing shady going on at all... lol

Sure, but we are talking on a national level, not NJ. In NJ, they may still be king (they better watch out though from Paramus in the future), but currently, they don't have the talent or experience to beat the best teams in the nation.

Uhhh, not it doesn't. Ohio isn't even in the top 10...and fyi, Georgia is #8 http://benmaller.com/2010/09/louisiana-has-produced-most-nfl-players-per-capita/

Like the "school" A Bennett attended before Findlay or the one room school Amare was enrolled before Cypress.

Not saying that just because of RN. They have very good coaching and have solid players at every position.
