Victoria and Albert's is a once in a lifetime place. Very expensive but worth it (do the wine pairing as well). Customized printed menus with your name and date on it. 3 hour meal that seems to fly by. Not stuffed aat the end, pleasantly full. Service is like none other with a lot of history involved. Do it once before you croak. It is at the Grand Floridian at WDW.

Ever eaten at the French Room in Dallas? I took my fiance there, it was amazing.

Man you have good taste. I can't afford to eat there much though, our bill was the most I have ever paid in my life, but well worth it. I had the duck and it was fantastic.

you know what , i actually was thinking of The Mansion at Turtle Creek that has the amazing soup but yeah the French Room is off the hook great as well

the duck and quail are two of my favorites - company picks up the bill for the most part as i couldnt afford that place very often

That was the first time I've ever been to a five star restaurant, well worth the 300+ dollars. I almost fainted when I saw the bill though.

But, without a doubt the best food on the planet is Brazilian bbq, Tucano's in Provo, Utah and Fogo de Chao all over the country. I had the crab cakes there and they were heaven until I realized they stuffed shrimp in with the crab. I'm deathly allergic to shrimp and it all came back up a minute later. One epi pen later I was fine.
The best Mexican food is El Farlito in Placentia Ca. Order #37 and enjoy.

I love me some el farlito I go there every other day when I visit the west coast, they have the best carnitas and refried beans

Post Oak Grill in Sugar Land, TX.
I had what was called the mixed grill. It was lamb chop, petite fillet and duck confit with truffle mac & cheese. Followed that up with bread pudding for dessert. Single best dessert I've ever had.

got a restaurant that we go to in Brentwood called Stoney River that we hit up at least once a month if possible but just a steak place but not bad

I don't eat out much and am hardly a conniseur but best salmon I ever had was at the Tonga Room in San Francisco. Smoked Salmon: wasabi mash teppan yaki vegetables ginger soy reduction. Best Italian(American) was at Salvatores in Cabo San Lucas, serving of Lasagna was as big as your head. And the best BBQ was pulled pork sandwiches from my own backyard.
