Papa Johns is the national chain I go with.
My current favorite local is Pizzeria Uno in downtown Chicago. They original join is infinitely better then the crap franchised version of it.
In Columbus, it was far and away Hounddogs/Smokin Joes.

When I make it back up to NYC: In Brooklyn I like L&B Spumoni Gardens and Di Fara Pizza
Tallahassee for games I hit up Momo's for game weekends
I don't eat anything from chain places but will make my own when at home.
Deserve got nothing to do with it...

6 years in school and 5 more in Westerville. I loved the place! Adriottico's Is very good also. I think we may differ on pizza!

See, Adriottico's is good, but I never thought it was as good as some. Although, it's hard to beat a pizza that can feet 10 ppl at once.

Papa Johns or Donatos are excellent.
Dominos and Leaning Tower are good.

The best places for pizza are the hole in the wall places where they don't have to make it like the big chains, they can do special things and do it their own way.

It's really not that great. It's a good deal if you need something cheap and fast, but there are way more and better options out there.

If you pick jets for franchise, then i don't believe your local pick, unless it's run by New Yorkers that moved to the South.
Papa johns for chain, Pizza Delicious in New Orleans or circle in the square in Asheville for local.
I haven't had legit Chicago. I need to get up there and try some. I've only had greasy attempts or pizzeria uno.
