You don't expect the most heralded quarterback recruit in the past ten years to make a jump in his third year in our offense? Look at the great quarterbacks we've had recently, Sanchez, Booty, Leinart, and Palmer. All of them became full time starters and excelled in their third season. I have nothing but respect for Luck, i think he is arguably the best quarterback in the country, but I think Barkley has the potential to get there as well. He was a starter at age 18 and 19. The Pac-12 is stacked at the quarterback position and it will be interesting to watch all of these guys play. If I had to pick right now, I'd take Luck, but I won't be surprised if Barkley is considered the best quarterback by January.

Ok It's Mike but other than him who has barely played. Every qb has a year or more except Glennon and the reason I chose him is because the ACC has trash at qb across the board.

Gonna have to disagree. Jones, Weeden, and then Griffin. Landry Jones not only had the numbers but he went to both of those guys' stadiums and beat them. He also outplayed them in those games.

You really can't compare what they did head-to-head as the defenses they play are drastically different. Oklahoma's pass defense was top 10 (8th), Oklahoma State's was barely top 50 (47th) and Baylor's wasn't even top 80 (82nd).

Griffin - 144.20

Griffin has the added dimension of being a true dual threat QB (rushed for over 600 yards.)

Wheedon > Griffin > Jones >> everybody else

Gotta go with Kirk Cousins.

Persa is a system kid and just doesn't seem any different to me than Bret Basanez and every other similar NW QB over the years.

Cousins is a smart, talented and driven QB who wasn't highly recruited; that's usually a recipe for a success story.

I'm not sure anyone will have a "better" season than Luck, but a few QB's will have a comparable season statistically. I don't understand how the one game post season makes a difference. Barkley and Luck are essentially the same, ask any NFL gm. Obviously Luck is the smart bet for the "better season", but even you have to admit that Barkley is capable of being the best quarterback in the country this year. He's an elite quarterback, there's no question.
