Best city in your state?

I grew up in SC and lived in CA and CO.
For SC I have to go with Greenville, I like Charleston but mostly for short periods of time...same with Columbia...Greenville is better for business which is my field.
In CA I liked the San Clemente Area but I only lived there, Hollywood, and West Covina so...obviously it was the winner.
In CO Denver is the only game in town really...particularly liked living in Lakewood just west of town...wonderful area.

For North Carolina, I would say it is clearly my hometown, Kernersville.
Charlotte and Asheville are 2(a) and 2(b), imo

For Florida, I'd probably have to go with Naples.
Some other good ones are Vero Beach, Sarasota, downtown West Palm Beach/Palm Beach, Wellington, Boca Raton, Weston, and Coral Gables.

Tuscaloosa of course!!! But really though...I would go with Mobile, IMO, it's the most unique. Although Huntsville is great for jobs. Also I was born in Mobile.

Don't get me wrong, Mobile and the Birmingham subs are great, but if I could put a house anywhere in Alabama it would be on Fort Morgan Road.

Summer- Ludington has great beaches, and is a quaint little town.
Fall, Winter, and Spring- Ann Arbor is probably the safest city (crime-wise), and hasn't been as devastated economically compared to the rest of the state. Though taxes are damn expensive.

In PA there are only a few places that I would consider a city... Philly, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Reading, Allentown, maybe Scranton... everywhere else is just a town. With that being said, Philly is easily the best of the bunch, especially the suburbs of Philly. A crap-load of great bars and restaurants, a great music scene, the 2nd largest mall in America, sports out the wazoo (both pro and college), great entertainment and it is close to other destinations like the beach, NYC, DC, Balt, ect. The area around Valley Forge and West Chester is excellent for raising kids. Of course, you have traffic, crime and a little filth to deal with (at least in the city), but the positives far outweight the negatives.
EDIT: If you mean ANYWHERE in PA, gotta go with State College! LOL.
