    Notre Dame at LB isn't about quantity, but also big time quality. That one is pretty clear, and should be simple to understand.

    Time will tell.

    He may be talking about the defensive backfield, not sure. Gotta like that in both offense and defense peices the Gators were in the also considered in almost every position group.

  • Mmm, on the fence bout the ND at LB as I seen the opponent level for most of these kids and it was cupcake. DBs hand down has to go to UF. I think that can go for a debate, but UF signed higher players. I've been around and coach long enough to call it how I see it.

    But was is not so simple is the s and cb position evals. If this part of the article is so "off" I have a hard time with the credibility of the eval on the other positions

    and how many CB's and S's are on the field at once? having more 3-stars is just the matter having more low-quality depth. Half of those will never even touch the ball. Gators dont have the scholarships to waste like UGA.

    I think considering the narrowed list of recruits Notre Dame draws from, they have done very well in this class, true student/athletes. It's really as simple as that.

  • The funny thing about UGA is they could be atop all three positions come signing day. There are two 5-star DL and a 5-star LB that they have a very good chance of landing all 3. They are the leaders or co-leaders for all 3. Scary what 36 available spots can do.

    Gotta take into account what the other teams can do as well.

    We could just as easily land some combo of A'Shawn Robinson, Max Redfield, LM3, and Tahaan Goodman.
