We have Tenpenny high, but both are very talented backs. Different backs, but both physically advanced more than others and have a good shot to earn meaningful snaps in a loaded backfield from jump street.

PSU fans were (over)confident. Waters even said we led until he saw a "sign from God." So be it.

On to the next 4* JUCO QB.

Currently, Steven Bench (true sophomore, got very few reps during the season) is the only scholarship QB for the spring. Austin Whipple (son of a Browns coach, Mark Whipple) is an EE as a walk-on, or run-on as Bill O'Brien calls them.

Tyler Ferguson is the JUCO QB we're in on right now (4*, rating of 91). PSU staff offered right after Waters committed to KSU and we're supposedly in good shape.

Hackenberg will most likely redshirt while Bench and a JUCO QB (probably Ferguson) will battle it out to start this year.

Our QB depth is just that bad - we need bodies desperately.

Not sure that Green plus Smith is better than Jones and Tenpenny. Also, what if Florida gets Alex Collins.

Maybe not, but I like our OL class better than Bama's, especially with Dawson back in our class. (can we all just assume this happens?)

I also feel Smith is underrated, and Green is just a monster. A lot of people on our board feel Smith will still be the feature back, even if we do land Green. I personally don't see that, but Smith looks very promising imo.

If we get Dawson, we can make a heck of a line.
