    Homerlol actually I agree if/when Dawson recommits. Texas offered 2 of those kids as DL I do believe. Heck, looking like Robinson ends up at USC. I'd put your OL class at the top with Dawson and ours #2..

    That's the thing - I think our class is close with just the current 4 v. 4, but if/when Robinson decommits, and if/when Dawson recommits, I don't think there's a better OL group in the country than Michigan's.

    We're also in line to get the #1 JuCo Tackle, and Billings who we offered as dlineman but could play center/guard down the line.

    I would definitely agree. As its a JUCO for immediate impact along with a big time HS prospect.

    That is an ideal combo IMO.

    Goodness, A&M's class is stacked.

    Texas A&M and Georgia because of the combo of talent and numbers are very impressive from a very likely # of future starters perspective. Good players, and a lot of of them - both still with room to add 2-3 more impact guys to the classes.

    I'm assuming one of the many reasons is his relationship with Green. It makes too much sense for him to come to Michigan which is why I'm worried he won't end up here.

  • Just a reminder, Desmond Harrison can have a big impact on top OL class (if he picks Texas), and the #1 spot in the team rankings (if he picks USC). Not counting Oklahoma out at all, but he can really impact those two from the position and team rankings.

    I'm disagreeing with their ranking on Elmer and Montelus and I have all season long. Obviously I value 247's opinions or I wouldn't subscribe to the site. For that matter I think they have Bivin overrated on the OL but that is just my opinion. All sites get some right and some wrong and I think 247 has Montelus and Elmer underrated. We are allowed to have differing opinions. It's what makes have sports debates/discussions fun.

  • So even with Dawson recommitting before the OP came out, Michigan still isn't the top? The two way player from Texas may play on the other side of the ball and then you only have 3 players on the OL.

    Although, looking at the commits for the other classes considered, almost all of them could be in that spot. Glad you guys make that call and take the backlash from the cut-throat fans.
