Tommy Rees Arrested: Notre Dame Quarterback Jailed In Police Confrontation

SOUTH BEND, Ind. Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees was pepper-sprayed and arrested early Thursday after he allegedly ran from away from an off-campus party and knocked the wind out of a police officer who caught up to him. A probable cause affidavit says the 6-2, 210-pound Rees continued to resist even after being knocked down by police Officer Brandon Stec, so Stec used pepper spray and was finally able to subdue him with the help of other officers.

Poor Notre Dame.. Yeah, lets pull a guys ship because he owned a Notre Dame LB who's got 20+ pounds on him and gave him the chomp afterward.. Maybe ND would stop underachieving if they'd take some boys with fire and strength like KT. Lets pull the nations top RB's offer, not to mention the son of Fred Taylor, just because he embarassed a LB nobody recruited instate who thought he was tough.
Actually, the day after this happened the LB tweeted how good Taylor was and how happy he was to compete against a player like that. Said it made him better. Also said they were buddies. Some of you ND fans have been doing this for years. Because you suck at football now, you try to take the moral high ground and brag about your academics, as if that has anything to do with football. You're on the wrong board if you think that ain't part of the game. Don't be so mad and Jelly though..

Are you a child? Have you ever played a contact sport? It's called having competitive fire and school pride. There was nothing dirty at all with that play or his actions afterwards. Maybe you should stick to watching Disney movies

Thanks. Didn't really understand it at first because most drills with the LB and RB have a OL blocking and the LB has to shed the block and slam the RB.
