College of the Ozarks is looking better considering the options

Tennessee would be a harder salvage job.

Gee if I'm an upcoming coach where would I rather ruin my future.....Knoxville or on the Plains.....is there a pistol on the desk in front of the contracts?

At least you would have an excuse though. It would be better than finishing below Vanderbilt in the standings.

I've lived in Ohio... Don't act like it is so much of a better place. Pretty much the whole state sucks. I won't argue that Tenn and Alabama don't have much either but come on. It's not like Ohio is any better.

Clouds, rain, and cold.... Maybe some days like today when I'm under the weather and just want to sleep.

UT used to be the 2nd best job in the SEC. That's no longer the case but they are still ahead of AU. Not by much anymore though

What do the schools have to do with the Cities?

This was asked on Rivals in an article a few weeks back and each of the five or so analysts picked Auburn.

From a recruiting standpoint LA Tech, Ole Miss, Miss State, etc, all have an advantage over UT. That's not really the main point at UT. When Fulmer was there they had the top class in the country on Rivals. They were cheating (Trooper Taylor) but that's another story. They have been able to recruit and recruit at a high level coast to coast for a long time before they fired Fulmer. Some schools say they can recruit that far but they sign scrubs. UT was going into random states and pulling BIG players the home school wanted. Robert Meachem (sp?) a 5 star WR out of Oklahoma was one of the more impressive pulls I've seen. They've also made a living in Atlanta-metro area (Jamal Lewis) and the Carolina s. They had/have the highest recruiting budget of all the schools in the country and it like doubles most big time SEC schools.
