Better title team 93 FSU or 99 FSU?

I have always wondered who would win if they battled. Being so partial to Charlie Ward I tend to lean that way even though they lost, they still had the best offense and defense ( rankings wise ) that year.

    What you say fellas

The team we beat and it's not close.

Yeah the hype and actual game was one of college football's greatest games no doubt

So good that losing barely hurts, of course cause we still win it all but that I can watch highlights of that loss and enjoy them

Not many games I can say that about

My last grand memory.gun Bobby Bowden was handed his first Natty. Good game, but it wasn't really that close. Bunch of points scored against a prevent D. The hype was off the charts. Believe the first Gameday occurred at this game.

    I'd take the 99 team.

Their offense was just too much, and I actually like Weinke more than Ward as a CFB QB...then there was P-Dub

    And don't forget about ST's.

BS, OK ST didn't beat Bama. Agree we choked that game away. Any idea how many first round picks played in that game? I know our top 7/8 DB's went on to play in the league.

    Hmmmm

I think we had Derrick Alexander, Warrick Dunn, Derrick Brooks, Devin Bush, and maybe one or two more 1st rounders on that team

Did Marvin Lewis graduate the year before? Wish I could find my old VCR tape of that game. Will never forget pregame shot of Brooks looking down at the camera posing like straight G. Off the top of my head we had Aaron Taylor, Bryant Young, Renaldo Wynn, Jeff Burris, my favorite CB of AT for ND Bobby "The Blanket" Taylor second round pick, wanna say Tom Carter and Irv Smith as well can't remember if they had graduated year earlier. I'm going to look into the actual #'s for both teams.

I also think that William Floyd and Reinard Wilson was on the 93 team.

Floyd was pick number 28 (1st round) to the 49ers in the 1994 draft

You mean Marvin Jones, and I believe he left after the 92 season
