Big 10 is a joke

  • The entire Big Ten sucked. Even undefeated OSU looked questionable at several points. They almost lost to the following mediocre/bad teams:

    Cal
    UAB
    @ Michigan St.
    @ Indiana
    Purdue
    @ Wisconsin
    Michigan

    Credit to them for finishing close games... but those games really shouldn't have been close.

    Saban has been a proponent for BCS schools to drop all these cupcake games for a few years now. He's not going to do it unless the rest of the conference does as well, but he's ahead of the curve on that topic. We did that home and home with PSU, and that was before we found out that PSU was a pedophiles playground. I think Saban would play anyone as long as it got us exposure.

    Also, I don't see why we can't be happy. Winning on a technicality in a shitty year is still better than not doing so? Or is that not pure enough for you all on your high horses?

    I thought we'd be 9-3. I think we have a better shot next year since we have Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Ohio State at home, but Nebraska has a joke of a schedule.

    Before you pat yourself on the back and give Saban a handy, it should be noted that the PSU series was made before he became the coach of Bama, and it was originally supposed to be played when we were good and you were mediocre, but Bama had it rescheduled.

    Actually I'm going by what Saban is saying. He actually wants to play nothing but in conference games.

    So before you talk shit how about you resurrect some of the little boys lives that your school allowed to continue getting sad endings for over a decade. Your team is going to be garbage for the next decade in the least. Get used to it. Bama fans had to deal with it for damn near that long and it was just a kid making money. At least we weren't covering up child rape.

    I would rather see your school go down in flames for the BS they allowed to happen. You shouldn't even be allowed to play football for five years.

    Both mediocre. Wisconsin lost 5 games. Their best regular season win is probably their home win against a 6-6 Minnesota. Despite their dominant performance in the title game last night, this has been a very mediocre team all season.

    Michigan, credit to them, won all the games they were supposed to win. But their resume is otherwise unimpressive. Aside from their comeback home win against Northwestern, their next best win is against Minnesota. Some might consider Michigan to be a step above mediocre, and that's a legitimate claim. But perhaps I'm just biased.

  • Ya it has sucked for a while, so much so that the greatest coach in the history of the multiverse, Nick Saban, couldn't win at Mich St. Remarkable how well he has done since having the benefit of an extra recruiting class.
