FSU will be one. Hopefully Clemson is the other. BYU is in talks to rejoin the MWC. Louisville would be a good addition, but only after FSU and Clemson are on board.

i've been talking about this on the texas boards for a few days.. as much as hate the sec, their scheduling is marketing genius and i hope the big 12 will follow the lead.

This is common knowledge. They will never join a conference. They will only keep using conferences like the Big East and ACC.

don't see louisville, their marketcap is tiny

byu to me is too far west , i think the future big12 spills into sec country unless ND decides to change our direction.

I don't think that matters. The other 63 teams aren't going to let them be out of a conference and get special treatment in a 4/8 team playoff.

ND would zero leverage because it would essentially be a new division. The new division wouldn't need ND, but the Domers don't want to be left out playing in the FCS.

The worst part of this as an FSU fan is reading all these articles and rumors about FSU going to the Big 12 that make way to much sense not to happen and then our inept President and Board of Trustees don't do a damn thing. These rumors are going to be running rampant until whatever that August 15 deadline is to say we are leaving and the dumb asses that run FSU won't do anything.

I hate the ACC and want nothing more than to be the next school out but it won't happen. Hope like hell I'm wrong.
