    and Arkansas.

They have some quality wins. They beat Georgia 45-42, beat the Gators and beat Clemson.

Two losses are to Arkansas and Auburn.

Why do you think the S. Car and Nebraska game will be boring?

I think Nebraska has shown that they struggle on the road, and they got caught off guard by Northwestern. S. Car has a good record for the SEC at 10-2. If Nebraska can avoid turning it over I think they'll keep it close.

    S. Car has a great D and I don't think the Nebraska offense is that effective. Without Lattimore, S. Car lacks punch. I could see it being a 13-10 type game and having some sloppy football be played.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Dude, i did the exact same thing 2 weeks ago. I went on a long rant about the SEC being down, looking at the SEC East's 2 best teams . . . and completely invertied S. Car and UGA, to the point that I said UGA beat S. Car.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Not a bad attitude to take, the B1G could use some help with its perception, and a strong showing in the bowl games this year could help our national perception.

come one. you know if that does happen there will be away to counter it. I can hear it now "it was only good match ups for them", "our two best teams played each other", "Yeah but your best team got waxed by Oregon" lol

  • Early predictions before doing any sort of research. Just based on my knowledge of each team.

Purdue vs. Western Michigan, Little Caesers Bowl - WMU can throw the ball all over the place. They can't play defense though. This will be a high scoring affair and should be a fun one to watch. I'll take WMU since I grew up in Kalamazoo.

Iowa vs. Oklahoma, Insight Bowl - Oklahoma is good and will exploit Iowa's weaknesses. An inspired Iowa team could pull the upset though as Oklahoma is probably not too thrilled to be there. Attack them early and they will probably crumble.

Northwestern vs. Texas A&M, Meineke Car Bowl - NW is a good team when their offense gets rolling and I don't think TAMU has any interest in playing this game considering they had MNC aspirations to begin the year. TAMU shows up flat and NW wins by 2 TD's

Illinois vs. UCLA, Dec. 31, Kraft Bowl - Illinois is not good. UCLA is worse.

Houston vs. Penn State, Jan. 2, Ticketcity Bowl - Houston will throw the ball all over the place and PSU's offense will struggle to keep up.

Ohio State vs. Florida, Jan. 2, Gator Bowl - Miller will have a big game on the ground and thru the air.

Michigan State vs. Georgia, Jan. 2, Outback Bowl - Should be a fun one. Both teams will pound it out and I think MSU's D comes up with a big stop late to win a close one.

Nebraska vs. South Carolina, Jan. 2, Capital One Bowl - Don't know much about USCe. Nebraska will wear the D down and slow down the tempo of the game, throwing USCe off their game.

Wisconsin vs. Oregon, Jan. 2, Rose Bowl - Wisconsin will put up points but the speed of Oregon I think will prove to much.

Michigan vs. Virginia Tech, Jan. 3, Sugar Bowl - Ah the entitlement bowl. The fact that VaTech is anywhere near a BCS game is joke and makes a mockery of the system that needed no more mocking. VaTech has to slow down Denard. Force him to pass and they can pull it off. I think Michigan probably rolls in this one.

I really want to know PSU's mindset going into that game. Houston's D is bad, so PSU should be able to run the football and control clock. If the Lions' D is focused, they should win.

I think we're gonna get beat pretty handily. I don't think it will be a real reflection on the team. The players are furious about the bowl placement and many took to social media to display it. Some will spin it to say "they will come out hungry to prove they got screwed." I happen to think they will come out flat and not really care. Their coach is probably a lame duck and they're playing in the TicketCity bowl. I just think the team comes out flat which will lead to say "this reflects on the kids' characters," but I think that's unfair as well. They've been through media hell and will be through the wringer leading up to the game. I hope I'm proven wrong, but I have a bad feeling about the game for my alma mater.
