    2- yes, rankings in march or even NSD are practically meaningless and have no bearing on how good a kid will truly be in college

    Its just a way to look at who your team gets and how they stack up with the rest of the nation

    Its all for fun, you know you have a great DT.... you saw it on film

    Yet you feel the need to bitch about his ranking lol as if he will suck unless he gets the considerable bump

    Na, they don't just favor the DL, they are not even fair. An OL will never have to defend a player like that in a game ever. If you give me that amount of time I could run around him.

  • We have two kids in Senat and Bain who are studs, and not ranked where they should be

    But you know why I don't give a shit ? cause in 3 years they will either be kicking ass on FSU's DL cause I know they are studs

    Or they will sign with somebody else

    Im gonna laugh if Liner switches to Bama so hard now, wonder how you feel about his ranking then

  • It's always pretty obvious who the really desired kids are. If you get your signatures from kids 6-10+ other BCS teams were REALLY trying to land then you got a stud, 3-5 BCS teams and he'll likely start at some point and is good, 1-2 and he may start at some point, if you get a kid with a bunch of verbal offers from BCS but you fight off Ball State, Wake, and FIU and the kid just isn't good.

    Thanks to the AU fans for the comedy on Dee Liner. Kid is good, but how in the hell can anyone critique a site for not bumping a player based simply off of him doing well at a camp. You guys do realize that it was with no pads on and a DL is always going to dominate a 1 v 1 against an OL with no pads on, unless there's an overwhelming talent gap.

    I can absolutely guarantee you that if FSU started getting ranked in the 20s, 30s or 40s consistently, instead of #2-#3, you would no longer be interested in paying money to recruiting websites. It's fun for you right now because you're program is successful at it. Hence, you pay money to keep up with it because you know it will always be exciting for you.

    Why do you think there aren't more Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Missouri, TCU, Penn State fans here?

    I saw our white backup280 pound NG Nick Gentry pancake DJ Fluker last Spring or Summer on a bull rush. That's the same DJ Fluker that is listed as a first round DP and the number one overall player in next years draft by at least one site. It's also the same white NG that will not get drafted. He didn't even have the entire LOS to work with and an immovable object (QB dummy) like they give them in that drill. I remember my first year following football recruiting......

    DJ might be a first rounder, but he isn't even close to being #1 overall. He is a liability in pass protect.

At first I thought the FSU fans were off their rocker, then I realized they are joking 90% of the time. Then it was the Michigan fans and their incessant whining that Shane Morris is the 2nd coming of Jehovah himself...nope Auburn fans take the cake. Not even close.

    Disclaimer: I've never stepped foot in the state of Alabama and hate both their CFB programs equally. My director is from Alabama, she's good peeps.
