    Smell ya Levenberry lmao

He is a really good player but I never really understood the fuss over him being that high

Top 100 is where I would have him ( maybe in the 90's or high 80's ) I do think he dropped a little too far

But he is not a top 25 player in the country right now, but that is more speaking to how good everybody else is than faults of his own

He just never really wowed me and although a great looking tackler he doesn't really bring the thunder in his hits like I have seen from countless other in this class at LB, that is what holds him back and I question how fast he actually is ( not knocking his speed, just unsure about it )

Hell the kid we have Hoskins looks just as good as Levenberry imo, and hits harder... not as big but every bit as good of a football player at this stage

  • Oh look, a perceived Bama lean gets a huge bump and is now a 5 star while Auburn commits do nothing but win camp MVP awards and fall in the rankings. I am shocked.

Shocking the gator LB makes a big jump up and the Nole lean LB drops like a stone.

Barton you really want to take credit for ranking one 3 star accurately considering all the rankings you probably got wrong? Thomas played like a 4 star often but was constantly hurt or in the doghouse for off the field reasons. So to me you were more lucky than good when evaluating JT as a player.

Nope. Not taking credit for anything. I wasn't even the one ranking JT. Just making the point that no matter how sure anyone is fans or analysts, you never know for sure. The rankings are educated opinions and should be taken as such. Not more or less.

Had him way too high and after additional information, we decided to make the adjustment. That's going to happen when you do early rankings.

what additional information? Curious as to what made him drop that bad.

I guess it's just a matter of other guys showing out and moving up rather than Liner actually moving down. Golson and Liner are both legit players.

They are both legit. But that said, Golson is nowhere near Liner, as Liner clearly dominated him and is for certain going to end up at Auburn. Also, lol @ Carl Lawson not in the top 120.

Trust that the majority of us realize you guys are the best bashful this is why we are here for the most part

Comparing this site to any other is just a joke already, only 2 years later

You will always the have the fans that just take rankings too serious and swear its some mass conspiracy

You shouldn't have even responded to that clown, I still have no idea how he even got that idea

Not at all. I understand that kids might have moved in front of Dee Liner. I just wonder the justification that 25 spots (Dee Liner to Austin Golson) is that big of a difference. If you look at the highlight tape of them going against each other there must be a lot bigger drop off in talent between the two.

Just giving you guys a hard time. It is a little surprising if you think about it for the exact reasons already stated. Between the 2 rankings coming out, Liner showed out while Golson didn't. Add to that the fact that Liner showed out against Golson...

But I had to rib the guy calling out bias... which is what my previous post was directed at. Personally, I'm a little upset that Andy Dodd didn't get the Bama bump.

No, but there is less here than anywhere else if there even is any bias here

Smart money says yeah of course but I have no idea so I won't say they do for sure

At the end of the day its a business and either way they are just rankings

Over the years I have never understood why so many people get up in arms over it, I just like looking at them for fun and really that is all they are for

Just a way to look at who is good

the difference between a player at #156 and say #76 is barely anything and the same can be said for a #7 kid vs. a #246 kid

You simply never know cause character never is part of the process really cause you can't really judge that, and that is the most important part in terms of creating a professional/next level football player

Lots of kids had the ability to play in the pros, its your brain that gets you that far though unless you are a freak of nature like a Mike Vick or somebody

I agree with you and stated as much in my post above. Well, I don't agree with the perceived Bama bump for a guy in Virginia who is probably the best pure Jack LB in this class. But there is one caveat... O-Lineman are typically ranked based on potential. If all things are equivalent, the D-lineman should have the advantage in a camp setting.

  • Serious question: Has Johnathan Allenbammer competed in a single camp or done anything this summer to justify his huge jump in the ratings? "Naming Bama his leader." is not an acceptable response to this question.

He is nowhere close to the best pure JACK in this class. Especially considering you were offering that position to Nkemdiche, Liner, etc.

I must ask, what have these prospect done since the last update to warrant such big moves in the rankings? I mean Ty Isaac dropped from #28 all the way to #68, why did he drop? There haven't been any camps that other RB prospects have taken part in that have shown they are more impressive than him and his film is some of the best in the country overall.

It's a common misconception that we adjust rankings based solely on camps and combines.

I know 40 spots looks and feels like a lot, but it really isn't. Based on further review and continued comparisons to others at his position and overall we made the adjustment.

Like I mention in the article, it's like a draft board. Players go up and they go down. The final rankings are all that matters.

Not mad. It's like everybody has the wool pulled over their eyes here but on other sites, even those not based on football recruiting, dozens of people notice and comment on how obvious it is.

Did you guys move Austin Golson up? I do understand that it wasn't that big of a move.

Yes. We think top three in Alabama are 1. Liner, 2. Howard, 3. Golson right now. Golson could continue to climb.

I'm not saying Austin Golson is bad by any means but Dee Liner dominated him in the VTO last week. Dee Liner moves down and Golson moves up when Dee Liner clearly dominated him during one on ones.

We would never make an adjustment based on the observations of another network at a closed camp.

Granted I've never been as high on Levenberry, Fuller, and Tyner and Henry as most. I do like seeing McMillian, Bell, and Allen high in the rankings though. I was totally unlearned in regards to Allen at the beginning of the cycle. Probably the best quick twitch pass rushing "true" defensive end in 2013

    We agree with you.
