Not mad. It's like everybody has the wool pulled over their eyes here but on other sites, even those not based on football recruiting, dozens of people notice and comment on how obvious it is.

There is no conspiracy and I will tell you straight up those that think that aren't very intelligent.

Anyone else think Thomas Tyler at #10 is way too high, goes down on first contact

He has a great size/speed ratio but he would probably not be ranked if he played against Georgia AAAAA (changing to AAAAAA this upcoming Fall). I was high on him at this time last year (2011) but watching more film, in my opinion he lacks the "competiveness" that most elite RBs have as the top guys usually "fight " for yards.

Also, you guys may want to re-assess Kelvin Taylor as his competition must not be great. I prefer all-around RBs and don't consider a RB highly just because he is fast....but Taylor has a serious speed deficiency. His 100m times are 12.20 and 12.34 so far this season. He has an 11.34 time from 2010 but he hasn't approached that time again and every athlete at that meet ran a career best .....meaning the meet had questionable timing. I can not see a RB that runs 12.2x-12.3x and weighs 200-205 excelling in the SEC. Honestly, several high school girls at the Cobb County Track Meet this week ran faster and this was just the County Meet.

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

It is a shame that 95% of teams don't play good defense like that anymore. Bring back the D!!!!

Well Defense like that would be illegal if Goodell had his say

And yes its a shame, you still play it pretty well though

I hope to see FSU on that level next year, Im almost positive we will be

this is the most badass defense we have had since that unit in 93' imho

And the ACC is very down next year

    Forgot about him.

Anyone know if he is competing in the Elite 11?

I guess I should warn you, if I turn out to be particularly clear, you've probably misunderstood what I've said.

Curious why do u have rashad kinlaw so high when other websites don't even have him ranked?

Because we like him. Also where another site has a prospect ranked is inconsequential to what we do. No disrespect to those guys but we don't take that into consideration ever.

dominate defense like that will win championships in some form 9/10 times. Yeah, I hate Goodell for that, that is why if i want to see the NFL I watch old Jack Tatum, and Dick Butkus highlights lol

  • I don't see a problem with Jonathan Allen being a five-star. The kid looks like an animal and has good film. In fact, I'd probably rate him a high four-star based on his physical presence. I don't give a rip where he goes, it won't affect my team.

That said, Carl Lawson certainly deserves a bump. He is every bit as good as Dee Liner, maybe even better. I'd also like to LawL at Bama fans who think they get Dee. That's hilarious.

Yeah we aren't concerned about Taylor's track times. We realize he's not terribly fast and the competition he plays is not great but his natural ability is what makes him one of the better backs in the country.

They will likely fluctuate but I see Jamal Carter moving up by NSD, probably a lot

    Burns could too

You can believe that all you want. It is all in your mind, though. It's funny we never ever hear from you guys about an Auburn commit or lean being moved up. It's always about the school up the road for so many of you and I get it, but don't drag me into it. I call it like I see it. Always have.

Allen is a five-star because our guys who have a proven track record of making evaluations think he's a great prospect- simple as that. Same guy that ranked Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins the top receivers in the country when nobody else did (turns out he was right) felt strongly Allen is a five.

Simple as that. I can't change your mind, though. I understand the strong feelings that exist.

which auburn commits have you moved up?

I could see Collins going up. Matthew Thomas and Alexander (I guess that's SoFla??) are right there near five-star status. Lamar Robbins is intriguing. I'm sure there are others.

Everyone hates Auburn, their recruits all suck, and JC and crew move them down to piss YOU off.

    Do actually believe this?

Just shut the hell up already you had your whiny thread already, don't make this the same.

Nice. I think he has some impressive film and his strength is off the charts. He also showed well at the VTO camp.

FWIW, not all of "us" disagree with your rankings. There may be a few that think this site is biased toward Bama --- and who knows, maybe you guys do put a premium on who saban offers (which isn't a bad idea) --- but, by and large Auburn fans don't think there is some grand conspiracy out there to rank Bama players high. They recruit well... I think the past three years would probably back up my statement.

I just don't see 205 pound power RB with 4.7x speed doing well in the SEC. I could be wrong but I'm assuming he must be playing private school competition to get all those yards with those measureables.
