We would never make an adjustment based on the observations of another network at a closed camp.

Didn't think about it being another networks camp. Completely understandable without watching that camp

UGA? Agree that Bama and UF had better classes top to bottom, even though I feel Auburn signed by far the best offensive class in the SEC. But as far as UGA is concerned, this site is the only major one to have UGA in front of Auburn, and by a ridiculous margin, no less.

    Scout: Auburn - #8, UGA - #14 Rivals: Auburn - #10, UGA - #12

    247: UGA - #6, AU #14

I mean, AU signed a consensus Top 2 OL class nationally, the #1 or #2 TE, the best QB class in the SEC, and an incredible RB to go along with 2 awesome WRs.

I'm still amazed that you guys had Chris Black ranked so high above Ricardo Louis, let alone Jaquay Williams. Jaquay Williams is almost the exact same size as Calvin Johnson out of high school and his coach says he's the 2nd best player he's ever coached behind Megatron. And that the gap between the two isn't that great.

Tell that to Steven Elmer. Who I do agree was rated to high early on, but don't think he should be outside the top 100. Still don't know why Bosch is rated higher than Pocic, McGovern, Elmer, and Bivin to name a few. I'd have Bivin rated above all these OL and see him as a top 3 OL in this class. Glad you agreed that Johnson was deserving of a big bump. Love his film, hopefully he's our last OL taken in this class. What is keeping McGovern and McGlinchey out of the top 247? A lot of people in the Chicago area think McGovern could be the best OL in the state. He also plays against better competition than the others. Also thought Tre' Bell deserved to be in the 200's as well as Ezekiel Elliott. Hope that $$$$ under the picnic table wasn't spent I want my refund.lol Tim Williams is a beast and should be higher, IMO. Good job fellas.thumbsup

Probably because Bosch man handles every DL he faces and has a ton of potential. Pocic is very good because he has brute strength and great technique. I like McGovern as a prospect and he is similar to Pocic but IMO isn't on the same level. Elmer is technically sound but lacks a mean streak and lacks that physicality expected at OL. Bivin is good but not top 3, that's waaaayyyy too homer. Take off your green and gold glasses.

Eight spots- 6-14- splitting hairs so it's not a ridiculous margin.

I think we had Marshall, Gurley and Dawson higher than everybody else (UGA) and Pike and maybe Kozan ?? lower.

It all gets back to individual rankings. We moved Callahan and others up last year. AU was in it for Darby and he was a five star late, etc.

You had 5'11" 170 lbs, 4.6 40 Chris Black, who did next to nothing all year, or in All-Star camps/games at #42 and 6'4" 200 lbs, 4.4 40 Jaquay Williams (who dominated all year and the All-Star game he played) not even in the top 100.

I mean, how would you even come up with that? How would ANYBODY come up with that?

It's more about where Auburn's classes and commits/leans are ranked, tbh.

Exactly what I meant earlier. You're lucky JC/Barton/Gerry/etc... are more patient with your arrogant behavior than I'd be.

Show some class. If that's as impossible as I suspect, show some restraint.

Bivin gets down field and destroys kids. Finishes every block. No homer that's my opinion. Would have said the same thing if he ended up at tOSU. McGovern and Bivin both get to that second level and put kids on their backsides. Haven't found film on McGlinchey so I don't know what to expect. Guess I was being a huge homer when I said Dorian Johnson was underrated too.shrug

You're not asking...You're degrading the people you pay money to and insinuating they are unprofessional.

You're never entitled to question someone's integrity.

Again, you're lucky JC is patient enough to answer your "questions". You're being an ass, plain and simple.

  • Rankings will always be debatable among fans, but under no circumstances, EVER, EVER, EVER, should Vernon Hargreaves be ranked ahead of Laremy Tunsil.

Well for starters where is Williams' 4.4? We saw him at MVP Camp and he didn't run that. Black has a confirmed time from Under Armour Combine and clearly gets seperation on film. If you want to talk camps (remember only about 10 percent) I saw him in that setting for three years and never saw him covered.

On top of that, he was a five-star for most of the cycle until we re-adjusted at the end.

Williams is an excellent prospect, but you are definitely seeing things we didn't.

No staff in the country ranks every prospect in America to our knowledge, so yes they do things differently.

We think a lot of Chris Hawkins and his ranking reflects that if that's who you are talking about.

  • I could understand if he was 6'2, a physical specimen like Patrick Peterson...6'2, 227, 4.38 speed

    But he's not. He's 5'10 and 180'ish.

Laremy Tunsil is an ELITE LT, has the perfect body composition, has every possible physical attribute you would want in an LT, and he's MEAN AS SHIT. No NFL GM would ever take a 5'10 180 corner (no matter how good) over the No.1 OL in the country (assuming he was NFL draft)
