I agree with BOB. If he leaves watch out for Al Golden to PSU. Gruden is an interesting one. I could see him in only a few places. If Sean Payton doesnt come back I could see him in NO. I feel like he would want to go somewhere with an established QB. Problem is with crappy teams is they normally dont have a great QB.

Thats why I think Gruden to Philly/Chicago. The QB situation is ok and he has said he wanted to be at a big market franchise this time.
Sean Payton just signed a new extension with NO so that is done.
There are so many openings and so little legit HC prospects, it will be interesting. THe Bills will probably hire someones administrative assistant or bring Bobby Bowden out of retirement , they always do something really stupid.

He's a solid coach, but wouldn't call him a good one. All that talent and don't even make the playoffs two years in a row. It was the right move and Devin Hester is so upset that he's considering retirement.

I don't understand this line of thinking. Any city that houses an NFL team will have multiple options for appropriate care, and an NFL paycheck is ample enough to find the best neurological care available.
Furthermore, he JUST moved w little difficulty. To say he can't do it again is just being a homer

To be frank, you do not know what the hell you are talking about. O'Brien talked about the transition for his kids, and it was not easy. His youngest son lamented about leaving his friends while O'Brien himself "bawled" (his words) when he read some of the letters his son with a disability received from some classmates from school.
Stability will certainly be a consideration. A 9 year contract with low expectations in the first 4-5 years is a pretty good deal.

Bottom line, if O'Brien's ultimate goal is to coach in the NFL then this is his opportunity. If he likes the college game more, then he will stay at PSU.

I was surprised initially that Lovie got let go, but then after I thought about it Im not too surprised. That team has a lot of talent and they aren't doing anything with it. 1 playoff appearance in the last 6 years isn't going to get it done for a franchise like the Bears. I hope they have a dud of a hire now and suck for the next 5 years too.
Might be hard to find a coach that will want to deal with Cutler being a cry baby bitch all the time.
Crazy to think that if the Packers win yesterday (something Lovie couldn't control) then the Bears are in the playoffs and Lovie likely keeps his job for next year too.
