Bobby Jindal Seeks Rich State Status With Income Tax Phaseout

  • Jindal is a smart dude but a lot of people don't like him bc of some stupid comments he made a few years ago.

    He really is an extremely smart guy and has done a fantastic job in Louisiana... But I can see why folks don't like him.

  • I liked him more before he became the GOP's token minority, who they trot out when they need some non white guy to toe the party line. But as far as lousyana politicians go, it gets worse.

    But he also made Craig Tafaro the Director of Recovery for Louisiana after he lost the most recent Parish President election. And Tafaro is as corrupt and worthless as I've ever seen. I've been around a lot of government projects, and no where is it more screwed up and corrupt than St Bernard Parish. (Sorry Scooter)

    Those idiots spent millions repairing streets, just to tear them up (sometimes within 2-3 weeks of completion) to repair sewer and drainage lines and then redo the streets again. And that's just the tip if the iceberg.

    So why I've not been a huge Jindal fan, his association with Tafaro completely turned me against him.

    Edit: Oh, and as long as Louisiana has the Napoleonic code, it will always be backwards.

    Token? The GOP does as good or better job with minorities in office. The Dems just do a fantastic job of getting their vote. According to Dem guys like Alan Keys is a dumb Uncle Tom and Palin and Bauchman are obviously sluts.
