Borderlands 2

  • Level 14 assassin and level 13 siren. Both are getting ready to go save Roland after the fire cult quests. Really loving this game so far. Favorite weapon is an smg that I throw as a grenade. Usually does about 500 damage when thrown and 35ish when shot. Also found a semi auto rocket launcher that does 1500 damage.

    Borderlands 2 players are reporting a bug in the game that wipes your Badass rank and tokens entirely, resetting them zero. Even worse, the challenges you completed dont reset, making it impossible to re-earn your Badass rank.

    Meh, Badass ranking isn't that interesting to me. I honestly wish they wouldn't have put it in the game. I'm currently playing the bonus attributes turned off anyway shrug

    Not a fan of player customization? That is a pretty big selling point of BL. I love the badass rank.

    Well the big selling point is hilarious dialog, loot, and fun combat. That's what made me want to play the BL series.

    At level 15 with my assassin. Faught two
    god-loot-liaths at the same time. When it was all said and done I got three blue weapons, two purple weapons, a blue shield and a purple class mod. Along with 13 eridium and lots of ammo. I was by myself. I really, really like this game.

    Where the hell did you find those. We are level 32 and we still haven't seen one of those.

    Just noticed the gun I have been using since yesterday is an orange SMG. So we have found what....2 orange weapons now?

    The regular goliaths and the loot goliaths will rampage if you shoot their facemask thing off. Well I had 2 spawn at once and 1 shot from my shotgun hit em both in the face. When they rampage they will attack anything, including other bandits. Each time they kill (I think) they evolve. It goes normal, raging, badass, ultimate badass and god. The loot dropped is better for each evolution.

    I found them in the area where incinerator Clayton is. The bandit area just past I his hut.

    I got it in level 1 of the bandit slaughter house, which I hadn't done in my game yet. Picked it up during the mayhem of 2 badass midgets charging me so I didn't get a chance to examine it thoroughly.

    I hardly played any on my second play through on the first and I literally found 40-50 golden guns. My brother found about the same.

    Weird. Im playing thru BL1 and have 3. Fearsome Skullcrusher (sniper that does 600DAM), a "bloody unforgiven" and some shotgun I never use.

    Anyone know if there are any bonuses for having a BL1 character saved? (like in mass effect)?

    I don't think we bothered letting any goliath's level up in the area, think we just destroyed them. Probably has something to do with us not getting as rare loot as that in the area.

    I don't know. I guess it is just pure luck. I know I am sick of the weapons I have. Outside that rocket launcher I didn't keep a single weapon from last night and.only one from the night before.

    That rocket launcher is pretty ridiculous, I still prefer mine, but I kept the one we got from slaughter dome. Would say we should go see if we can find a goliath of some kind in Lynchwood to test the theory, but then we would have to deal with those damn rat theives....
