    So all 5 of us have done battle with him. Nice, I still want to know why it is so hard to get him to spawn for us, and Vexerr he snuck up on and attacked from behind. He needs to cough up some gold loot next time he goes down.

    He popped up quick. Within 10 minutes of us beginning.

    I was pretty disappointed that he didn't drop hardly anything.

    I am on a PC. I logged in on a different interface and nabbed a golden key and saved and exited. The next morning I was facing knuckledragger. Aussie, I read about your troubles. That helped me gain a little perspective.

    I don't have the bee, nor have I ever tried to get it from one of you fools, so it won't really affect me.

    All they did was make it the way they originally intended it to be. The only difference is it now only gives amp damage per shell or round, instead of every projectile created when firing the gun.It was giving the full amp damage to each pellet from say a shotgun shell or the bunch of projectiles from the maggie. So it will be lowered, but it is still a ludicroulsy powerful shield.

    It is really helpful for farming by yourself.

    Unless you're farming Terramorphous or Hyperious it really isn't necessary or all that helpful as you're going to get hit at some point and lose the amp effects of the shield.

    As Pitchford put it, they "fixed and balanced" it rather than totally nerfed the thing into oblivion. From what he said he didn't think they weakened it enough, and from people's feedback it was killing the "fun, enthusiasm, and variety" prior to balancing it. It is, however, the only planned fix/nerf to the shield. They did it this way to not make it so appealing for all players to just use that combination without nerfing the gun itself. They also balanced and fixed all amp shields, as on the PC they were having issues with them working improperly and stacking amp damage I guess. Which is why it seems to them to be more than what they actually did to it. It was even more ludicrous on that platform.
