Anyone heard of being "intellectually honest". Read the ACTUAL QUOTE. Read the ACTUAL context...you would think the guy says " I hate gays". Since when does answering a question about what you and your organization supports constitute hate and intolerance. I live 20 miles from a marriage retreat camp Chic. Supports/founded that has an 80% success rate. This is restoring severely broken marriage. How is that a negative.

Funny you mentioned them. I was just recalling how the media hailed them as Champions of the First Amendment for speaking up for what they believe in, ABC even ran a special on it. Same media tries to crucify a Christian man/Co. for exercising his First Amendment rights...and ABC right out front.

Was listening to news on the radio and they gave Bloomberg's response on Chick Fil A as "don't go there". Completely gave impression he was calling for a boycott of Chick Fil A. He was referring to other Mayors expressing opinions on a companies religious beliefs. He said no government people should even be commenting on it, don't go there.

First of all there are Federal Laws against discrimination based on sexual orientation. I highly doubt that a state run institution would take a stance in violation of these laws.
But, I'll allow the premise for sake of argument. This is different situation for me personally. Since I went to and graduated from Ohio State. I have a vested interest in how Ohio State is perceived, especially by the professional world. Being a part of the University, I can't look at this from the outside. I wouldn't stop being a fan, but I would work to change the official stance of the university. I could try to exert pressure to change by various means. I don't really know what those means would be. They could end up to include removing any financial support I give to my school. This could include not buying any merchandise, making financial contributions, or buying game tickets. I would still be a fan, but it would be partly my responsibility to influence perceived character of my school.
