Honestly, I think the number of groups that don't want more than equal rights is very minimal. It's almost instinctual for a demographic to seek advancement of its own cause as much as possible, even beyond what one could term as "equal rights."
Just out of curiousity, would you put Christians into the category of groups that want more than equal rights, along with special attention?

No. You can have a skewed opinion if you would like, but at least be intelligent and honest enough to admit it is skewed.
Christians have been condemning people for a VERY long time and, for the most part, it was tolerated in silence. Now that others have had enough, you people want to claim that tolerance only goes one direction which is completely and utterly ridiculous. You just don't like that people are finally joining forces to tell you you may not continue the evil behavior or use our government to oppress those who do not agree with you. You may not do it ANY LONGER.
You don't just want your free speech, you want the legal ability to take MY freedoms away because I have more faith in the flying spaghetti monster and could not possibly care less about what someone else does in the privacy of his or her own home. You want the LEGAL right to prevent someone else from enjoying their freedom as a citizen of the United States. You can do what you want, but someone who doesn't believe in your god may not. You want to be shown unlimited tolerance, but have thus far completely refused to exhibit even a modicum of tolerance.
We have put up with it for far too long and enough is enough. Get your Bible and your jesus and your god and do whatever you want, bathe in pigs blood for all I care, but keep it out of our courthouses! Oddly enough, you don't even realize that's more tolerance than you're willing to exhibit.

II like you and all... but this is as close minded as you can get. I'm extremely disappointed in you.
Chick fila has every right to not like gay marriage, come into any city and set up shop, and TO HAVE THEIR OWN OPINIONS. THIS IS AMERICA AND IT IS THEIR RIGHT.
These mayors are in the wrong. What would you think if a business promoted socialism and a conservative mayor did what these idiots are doing? Oh the liberals in this country would go ape shit. I'm tired of this hypocrisy from the left. Its really getting old.
