Nevermind that was Menace to society and Baby Boy before he died. If you watch Baby Boy you would notice a lot of Tupac posters in Tyresse character room, because Tupac was suppose to be that character.

Tupsc was supposed to be Menace to Society, but I forgot the reason he was not in it. He also was going to play Tyresse character in Baby Boy before he was mudered, snd they have posters of tupac in tyresses room.
Here we go about Tupac and Menace II Soceity
Originally, Tupac Shakur was set to play Sharif and rapper Spice 1 was set to play Caine, but they were later fired with director Allen Hughes claiming that Tupac was causing trouble on the set. Six months after the firing, Shakur assaulted the director, resulting in Shakur being found guilty of assault and battery.[2] Tupac did not want to play the role of Sharif, not being a Muslim. Tupac wanted to play O-Dog. They were later replaced with Larenz Tate and Tyrin Turner, respectively.[3]

Good movie but I think Singleton tried to hard with some of the elementary symbolism. Good movie but not as great as some critics went on about it.
