Brandon Hill Just Recommitted to Alabama

  • With Hill and Leon Brown as EEs, the line---the only real question besides corner---has pretty much shored up. Lookin' like a THREE-PEAT boys!

  • Big get, we needed another OT. Hopefully we can keep who we have and then finish with Tunsil, Liner, Bell, Kamara, and Andrews. It might end uo the best class we ever signed.

  • Love the idea that this years OL class will help the team next year, not how it works morons

Also lolz at coolstorybro, he is easily the most homerific Bama fan I have ever seen. His comments and constant threads sucking Bama's nuts are just homo's beyond belief

Also funny how you guys still think you land Tunsil too, Bama has zero chance at him

Leon Brown will be starting at RT next year and Hill will probably be backing up him or Kouandijo, so yes it will.

    Ha

1- you have no idea if he will be starting or not

2- or if it will be a instant success or total failure

3- you listed one kid as a potential starter and that means this so called " greatest OL class ever " will be the key to shoring up a question mark OL ?.... and in turn will lead to a probable 3 peat ? before the 2 peat even happens ?

    Straight idiocy

Hey NoVa. Get ready to see what a real dynasty is like. Not Top 5 finishes, but crystal balls.

Still doesn't excuse the terrible post, signing a great OL class is great and all but thinking it solves issues right away is a weird conclusion

Yea we're lookin good with EEs also. Got 3 pretty good OL coming in January, one being a transfer from Nebraska(Tyler Moore) who sat out this fall. I think total we have 8 EE coming in Jan. And Bama is lookin good going forward, but you know them Gators coming. Hopefully we see another battle in ATL next year

Your lucky to be in the NT game this year... So don't get to ahead of yourself...

Anyways, Bama is obviously a landmark in college football for recruits and if Saban stays is going to be hard to beat them. But there are other teams who are on the up and up (UF, ND, Ohio State, shit even Michigan)

I wasn't the one who said it was a great class, I just know that one of the two glaring problems for next year is not as bad as previously thought. It's not perfect, but its not a shit show either. Leon Brown should James Carpenter that bitch next year.

  • We've had plenty of first and second year OL signees help the team that early. Hell, look at this:

2005- Center Antoine Caldwell starts as a rFR. He starts the rest of his career.
    - rFR BJ Stabler starts at guard all season
    - True freshman Marlon Davis gets snaps at guard and pushes all Summer for a starting spot

2006- Andre Smith starts as a true freshman
    - rFR Mike Johnson plays 2nd string RT and pushes for the starting spot all Spring before he gets hurt.
    - True sophomore Marlon Davis starts the season as the starting guard before an injury.

2009- Barrett Jones as a rFR starts and never steps off the field his entire care
    - JUCO OT James Carpenter starts every game as soon as he gets on campus
    - Chance Warmack plays 2nd string guard and finishes most games.
    - True freshman DJ Fluker takes snaps at 2nd team tackle, but is allowed to redshirt due to depth

2010- rFR DJ Fluker starts at RT
    - True sophomore Chance Warmack starts every game

2011- Cyrus Kouandjio plays 2nd string LT and finishes up most games

2012- True sophomore Cyrus Kouandjio starts at LT
    - True freshman Alphonse Taylor takes snaps at 2nd team guard
    - rFR Ryan Kelly plays 2nd team center and is elected to the freshman all SEC team
    - rFR Isaac Luatua pushes for and rotates a 2nd string guard spot.

2013- First year JUCO Leon Brown will start at RT.
    - If we sign Tunsil, he will be 2nd string LT as a true freshman and will finishes most game like his predecessors
    - Don't count out Grant Hill making the two deep somewhere on the line.

Yea I agree. Its too bad we blew it vs UGA turning the ball over 6 times. That game still stings, I would of loved to have a shot vs y'all in ATL. But good luck vs ND, im pullin for y'all

Not saying LB will start at RT next year but he is definitely the favorite. You post as if these guys who have signed are out of HS when in fact they are from Prep and JUCO which means they will likely be more game ready from day one. Also doesn't hurt that they are EE. Alabama has had good luck with players from JUCO starting immediately under Saban so we will see if that continues.
