I know everyone wants a bat but I still maintain that a true leadoff hitter like Bourn would benefit this team more. Getting on base consistently has been a huge problem with this team all year. You get on base, you'll score runs. We don't have to depend on that 3-run homer to score. Besides, we have enough "power bats" in our lineup. Just nobody on base to drive them in. Look at Uggla, has 18 homeruns, only 40 RBIs.

Granted, Uggla might have been a bad example since he's hitting less than .200. Bmac has 18 homeruns and only 55 RBIs. He should have closer to 70 or more IMO.

Who, Jairo Asencio? Good chance but I'm sure we won't see him until the Sept. callups. He kinda shit the bed back in April when he was up for those 6 games.
