Petrino showed the blueprint for Ark. Play great offense and hope the defense can hold on to win. I dont see him out-recruiting the rest of the SEC for elite SEC defensive talent and if you dont have a hell of an offense, you better have a good defense. Bama, LSU and Florida can all line up and play a ground and pound style offense because they have elite Olines, RB's on offense and, more importantly, have elite talent on defense. I dont see him bringing in that kind of talent to Ark.
Good coach but poor fit IMO.

Hell, last year if it weren't for 2 hail mary's they would've been in the national title game. I don't know how good a recruiter he is or will be able to be in SEC country when it's a foreign land to him, and I don't know anything about his douche factor but as long as he wins, who cares? Great hire, IMO.
