Bullshit. He let Lynch go anywhere. He'd definitely allow Tee to go anywhere.

He let Lynch go to no account USF never to be heard from again...

USC is a powerful place that Lane Kiffin is ruining.

I predict USC runs the score up on ND if they have the chance.

Please...it happens, particularly in a big rivalry. I remember the 1966 game, Notre Dame ran up the score, 51-0, and your coach had the first string in till the bitter end. John McKay's biggest loss.

We did it to fUCLA. biggrin

I didn't mean it like you guys intentionally run the score up, what I meant was you guys beat us so bad it SEEMS like you run the score up.

I think it stays pretty respectable between the two teams. Same with SC vs B10 teams.... now SC vs SEC/B12 teams get we try to get 50+ at will.

  • Actually bk has no control over where Tee goes. Tee didn't actually qualify he took an ACT hoping to qualify and ND let him in school based on hm having a score they thought he could get. Basically what I've heard from college coaches coming through is Tee needs to clear things up. So get a clue before you post.

Well, at least you weren't fUCLA. I don't think the Weasel could sit down for a month. lol

I see where you are coming from and see why you feel that way 100%. However, do you find it maybe a little hypocritical he would take a kid from USC but won't let a kid go there.

    I don't think it's hypocritical at all.

Suppose a person randomly pays for my meal at a restaurant, I am not a hypocrite if I don't pay for their meal next time I see them in a restaurant. It's not like I ever asked or expected him to randomly do this for me. I appreciate the courtesy, but I owe nothing.

It's not like Kelly begged for this kid to transfer. The kid transfered of his own will and USC let him. Maybe USC had some ulterior motive...wanted to get some good press, maybe it increased their chance at landing a more highly sought recruit, who knows? Thanks USC, but Kelly has no obligation to reciprocate.

There is a difference. Carlisle was basically kidnapped by his father and Kiffin just let it go.

Tee left on his own and Kelly didn't want to reward him for bailing.

Kelly could have considered a little professional courtesy considering Kiffin's not contesting Amir's transfer but I really didn't expect it from a coach who's on the hot seat.

    lol the great heist...

Yep, him being told he can no longer attend ND. BK didn't cite why because privacy laws. I'm a HS coach, seen at least 30 D1 coaches come throughincluding Fresno coach who confirmed academics

Either way, just from a development standpoint I think the Juco route is the best bet for him.

So do I, kid needs TP get on the field ASAP. Two years with no PT could kill this kids college career. I hope he goes JUCO and then transfers after 1 year.

  • OP - you actually think Kiff said " I permit you to go to ND"

How bout a fing married man telling a recruit that he will have access to the playboy mansion.

Kiff is reaping the benni's of Pete's recruiting. He sucks as a coach and a human being - daddy still is running the show.

So you actually think that players should be able to leave without any consequences regarding playing time no matter what the reason is? It would be complete anarchy.

To some extent as long as coaches can "cut" players at any time, yes.

A good staff and a school where the players are really getting an education won't lose players willy nilly. Schools that are football factories who only promise the players exposure will suffer when the players aren't give any field time.

On another note looking at your sig a good friend of mine just died. He screwed Chuck Norris' first wife when Chuck was in the Phillipines shooting the POW movie. I always joked that he was the bravest man I ever knew.

    Waiting on that link....

Sorry if a a dude on a message board telling me some one told him something is not believable enough.

Is there another instance where ND has let in a student on good faith with out any test scores but later kicked the student out of school for those scores being too low? Maybe that will help me believe what you're say'n.
