Unlike 99% of other ND fans I try to be a realist as opposed to a dreamer. Most ND fans I ''meet'' on here are far to unrealistic. It's ridicilous. I can't stand it. If you say the slightest thing wrong over on Rockne's Roundtable they will downvote the pants off of you. None of them seem to be realistic. It just kills me. They think we're gonna be 12-0 National Champs every year! Return to Glory! We are ND! Simply not realistic...

Am I being a homer, or does Kirk Ferentz not being anywhere on that list, not even in the "Best of the Rest", seem off? Someone that can objectively look at the situation, please tell me why he would be ranked behind some of those guys. For instance, Charlie Strong has been a head coach for 2 years; Kirk Ferentz has gone to a BCS Bowl twice.
