It was time for Reid to go. Sometimes you just run out of gas at one place. He had a hell of a run for 14 years there but it was time for both parties to move on.

I think the Eagles would be best served if they hired Mike McCoy or Ken Whisenhunt but that is just me.

We need a coach that will make the players actually give a damn. Our team of misfits has a long way to go. I still like Lovie Smith or the DC from Seattle.

Both are good coaches but the Eagles have made it clear that they are going to hire an offensive minded guy. That rules out the two that you listed.

I could care less being a Falcons fan. I've heard that our OC was on a lot of lists but his name has gone cold. I guess he interviews badly. Good for us I suppose.

It's actually kind of exciting to think about. Kelly knows what it takes to win. He did not have the best talent around him this year, but he knows what to change and how to win with the players he has. The players also seemed to have a great relationship with him. I'd rather have him than Chip tbh. There are worse candidates.

Gruden is not in play though and he never was in play. Realistically, who is out there? Nobody worth a damn (at least no one that jumps off the page).

Whiz hasn't shown me anything. I think he is just a great coordinator and that is it. Without Kurt Warner, AZ has been terrible.
