  • His father Orlando was the NFL Olineman who was struck in the eye with the penalty flag and blinding him.

I did not know this but he just recently died. 40 years old.

Ha funny. Kinda sad that Alabama's players arent good enough to be recruited by the in-state schools. Have to come and pillage georgia like every other powerhouse in the south...FSU, AU, FU, USC, Clemson, Tennessee, Miami...all coming to Georgia for their players. Too bad players in alabama suck.

NFL vets would disagree. Just not as many great players. GA is only behind FL. Tex. and Cali in talent.

Bama landed 1 of the top 5 in GA this year and it was the fifth best best player. In 2011, Bama landed 0 of the top 5 and only 1 of the top 10 in GA. Congrats on all the top GA players. Kirby Raid!!!

I remember watching "Zeus" get struck with that flag. JC/Steve is this kid on the same level as Seantrel Henderson coming out of HS?

    You're joking, right???

His resume speaks in a soft voice. OL prospects do best (going to NFL) from programs like Alabama, Okie State, Oklahoma, Miami, Wisconsin, and IOWA. Michigan had a great rep before RichRod's spread. Hoke may return the program towards the top.

Just because Tennessee is SEC football, doesn't mean OL is a focus.
Ask NFL scouts where they would go for top OL training. Not Tennessee.

And that goes double for the No-You're Lame Iwish.

The Iwish Offensive Line is its weakest link in its hopes of ever returning to a BCS game(followed by its secondary). ND annually recruits 4 and 5 stars OL who go there only to waste their time. Only 4 NFL OLs on NFL rosters currently and most are backups. ND could not survive in a conference like the SEC, PAC12, or B1G. ND cannot play smash-mouth football so they need to play teams that do not have the premier talent in the trenches. USC and Michigan will continue to own ND. Playing Purdue or the Academies/ BYU is not a real challenge

  • Once he is playing for a Georgia football team and he sees how they even go berserk at high school games, he is going to be a DAWG. UGA will welcome him and make him feel like he is home.

lol your numbers are not right about the Irish.. Try again, I can think of a few OL that are starters in the league. I do agree that we had a serious development issue of OL under Weis, but our OL has made huge improvements under BK. Your right about our DB's even though Harrison Smith is likely a second round pick.

  • Using ESPN's database. Sorry, missed 3 more names, not much else to say for them. 7 total. Ryan Harris, Sam Young, Jeff Faine, John Sullivan,Eric Oslen, Mark Levoir and Chris Stewart. Not counting a LS.

With the number of HS AA prep recruits the Iwish get, your numbers are lame. Where are your All-pro/Outland trophy winners? fail

Harris was good before injuries started cutting his NFL career short. Jeff Faine was once a Pro-Bowl alternate (former 4 star recruit) in 2007.JF is at tail end of career. Sullivan is center for Minnesota Viking (bad team) with no accolades. Levoir - AA prep TE/ Little more than depth in NFL.

Eric Olsen- limited to practice squad.
Chris Stewart - career backup material.
Sam Young - limited to practice squad.

No-you're Lame is ancient history in college football. Guess that is why their only bowl wins of 2000s were against Hawaii and a subpar Miami (pre-Golden era).
