I am on board with Jay Gruden or Kyle Shanahan........I am not buying the Saban rumors.......and could Andy Reid enter the mix?

Please don't hire Chip Kelly, or any other college coach for that matter! Give me Lovie Smith or Andy Reid and I'm happy! I would also like to see them draft Warmack with their 1st pick. Go Browns!

I hear ya in a way, but come on Gruden and Shanahan have a clue.....Shanahan just got to watch his dad completely dismantle and re-build a dessimated Redskins program that is now a play-off contender.....and I think all "Grudens" are born with a NFL knowledge chip so neither of these guys are snot nosed rookie coaches.

Agree.
I think both GM and HC will both be solid hires. Haslim has impressed me as a owner and strikes me as a owner who doesn't care about profit as much as winning.

Browns have been a revolving door of 1st time head coaches the last decade, you need someone who has been there and done that to right the ship

If Saban were to ever go to the NFL I would have to imagine he'd want to go somewhere with a good QB. You can't win without it.

Thanks for your input.

Except for one of the best O-lines in the league anchored by the best LT in the league. Oh and a defense with several young studs. Throw in the best K in the league and suddenly its not such a bad job. Little and Gordon stated to come on towards the end of the year as well. The Browns really only need a younger CB to replace Sheldon Brown and an upgrade in the pass rush and they will be fine. I would vote for Reid....already has familiarity with Banner and runs a similar offense to the one currently in place.

No, but Phil Dawson is. Higher make % than Walsh, neither missed from beyond 50. Going back to last year Dawson has made 13 straight from beyond 50. One of his 2 misses this year was blocked. Oh yeah, and he kicks in CLEVELAND, right off the Lake, not in a nice cozy dome.
