I dont think so, even as a Nationals fan. Even though he can hit a ball 500 ft, he's more of a line drive hitter. Although when he signs with the Yanks in a few years and plays in that tiny tiny ballpark, he'll hit a lot more homers.

Can't be splintering bats in the Reds dugout and having to get stitches because it flew back and hit your eye. Lesson learned the hard way for Mr. Harper.

I am just basing it off of his swing. He doesn't have a homerun swing right now.

Anything is possible, but pitchers don't suck as much as they used to anymore. Hell, pitchers are throwing around Harper now, and he's only 19-years old now. He's drawn so many 3-1 counts this season already, mostly because he has an ELITE eye for the ball, and great plate discipline. But not a lot of pitchers are throwing him the way they do the other hitters in our lineup.

If you have seen him in the batting cages before the game, then you can see his power first hand. It's freakishly impressive. Even the other team comes out of the dugout to hang around the cage when he's hitting in there.

He has had two doubles, and one triple this season, that would have been homeruns in other ballparks. But he's not up at the plate trying to hit bombs every AB either.

He'll be a routine All-Star soon, and will be in the MVP discussion down the road in the future. He's batting .428 over his last 7-games with two doubles, two triples, four RBI's, seven runs, and four BB's. He's on fire right now.
