Like I said earlier, PSU fans want to turn the BOT into the scapegoats so that they can keep their hero Joe Paterno.
Let's get this straight... If I knew and reported something like that to the people above me and nothing was done about it, I would go directly to the police. If nothing was still done about it, I would go to the news papers. I would not sit there for 10 years while a predator was using the respect of my University to lure in children. The only thing I can think of is they wanted to keep things quiet so that no shame was brought upon Penn State (ala Catholic church with pedo priests).

Doesn't matter if it is a joke...what he posted may actually be a crime in Ohio.
People need to stop making threats of any sort, even as a joke. This stuff is funny until some crazy loon actually does something.
Bosch should say he is sorry. The fans on both sides need to clamp down. This is not funny any more.

Like I've said many times, people don't realize that once they post something its out there for the world to see. It's a whole lot different when you say some sort of crude joke to a friend as opposed to putting it out there on something like twitter.
I'm definitely not the most politically correct person when I'm with friends, but I wouldn't go and post that stuff in the public for it to be interpreted this that or any other way.

Hey, non PC jokes are cool...but not in a public arena like twitter. Especially when it is a physical threat, and even more so when it is about a minor.
I think you and I agree on that.

I agree...and at the time, I said that was seriously wrong.
We both have to accept there are crazies on both sides. That is a fact. Another fact is that the death threats happened. They have been verified by multiple sources, including journalists. If you don't want to believe that...I can't do much more to convince you.
Both sides need to tell people to stop using violent rhetoric. It is idiotic. We can hate each others football teams without doing that.
I live in Columbus. Most Ohio State fans think this is completely and utterly idiotic, and think that death threats are way over the line. Why people on these boards can't accept that reality is beyond me...and that goes the other way too.

Currently, 247sports's Buckeye affiliate site is not doing anything to discourage the (unlawful) campaign of intimidation against a 17-year-old and his family. In fact, some members are even condoning the threats. Reads one post: "you don't [eff] with Buckeye nation and not expect to be held accountable. Hopefully[,] other [University of Michigan] recruits learn from [Tulley-Tillman's] mistake."
This kind of posts need to be nipped in the bud. If a lawsuit does arise from this, the affiliate website and 247sports could be sued.

I am still waiting for Tillman or some journalist to actually provide proof that he actually got death threats and if he did, was it one, two or is this a sad attempt to play the rivalry game and draw attention to himself.
Death threats period are wrong regardless of the action. I would expect a Hoke to corral his recruits and have a discussion with them to set the standard. I do recall UM fans wishing Brionte Dunn torn ACL wishes because he chose OSU. You didn't see Dunn crying out that he was getting these threats.
I believe this is a sad attempt by teenager to draw attention to himself and when it got out of hand he found a way to direct the wrath away from himself by crying wolf and saying poor me.
I say show me the proof!!!!!
