How is the LB( Curtis Grant) from Virginia doing for you guys? did he play much? I watched a few games and did not see much from him.

looking like a bust. Talking about moving him to DE. He had a guy move from FB to MLB midseason and start in front of him.

Riding the bench. I would put him at near bust status. If he doesn't contribute this year (his 3rd year in the program), I would consider him a total bust. Too bad, I had high hopes for him. Still do, but not much time left.
Always borrow money from a pessimist; he won't expect it back.

Buddy of mine had told me the same. Just thought he was joking. Some said Grant would get lost in the shuffle out there. I had hoped he would do well.

The sad thing is that the staff gave him the starting MLB job in the spring and all through fall camp because we really needed him there, but we ended up having to move a FB to MLB to start over him. It's not that he got stuck behind better players, the staff just doesn't have enough faith in him to leave him on the field.
Nobody really knows what's going on with him, but he's been very disappointing unfortunately. He still has 2 more years, and as mentioned a move to DE has been discussed, so hopefully he can find his way on the field somewhere.
