To start off my gf and I have had dogs/been around dogs our entire lives. She's moving in with me soon and wants a dog for Christmas. I'm all for it as I'm a dog person. Anyway, she's always loved pitbulls and I'm fine with any dog as long as it isn't some tiny little yapping thing that never shuts up. Anyway, what can I expect to pay for a pitbull? I'm not going to a mall or anything but someone who breeds them. Thanks for any advice given.

I say this whenever anyone asks for dog advice, and I'm sure a lot of people don't really care, but why not adopt from the pound/animal shelter? There are *always* pits there, for less than it'd cost you from a breeder. There are millions of unwanted animals in shelters all over the country, you could give one another chance. Just my two cents.
