CJ Spiller

  • Can he sustain this type of success all year?

Glad he is finally getting into a rhythm.

I hope so he is helping me make 500 bucks in my fantasy football

  • Of course not. As soon as teams start selling out to stop him, he'll come back to earth. Buffalo's passing game isn't good enough to force teams to have a completely balanced D - stacking the box becomes a viable option.

Also, Fred Jackson will be back in a few weeks. Even with Jackson out, Spiller is having to average over 10 yds/carry to put up the numbers he has the last two weeks. When Jackson comes back, there's no way Spiller gets even as many carries as he's getting now.

No way he can sustain this type of success, but there is also no reason he can't be one of the top RBs in the NFL either. Would have loved to have seen him in college with an offense that ran the ball downhill. He has the power to run inside and the speed to burn.

Since nobody's bitten yet, I'll say it.

Not when it gets cold and his turf vagina comes back.

I wonder if he and Gilmore have become buddies.

FTR, I don't think he can sustain this type of success either. I just would like to see him have a good, consistent season.

I'm sure they're cool. None of those guys take rivalries as serious as we do.

Speaking of, dude had a rough week 1 along with the rest of the Bills but bounced back with 7 tackles and 3 PBUs, IRRC.

This might be some SC and Clemson joke I'm missing out on, but Spiller dominated the last 5 games of the season last year. Wasn't too warm in December in Buffalo.

Spiller is a baller. He's going to get 15 touches a game and will be explosive with them. Bills offensive line is great at run blocking, and Cordy Glenn is a monster as well.

During rivalry week they do, because there have been some crazy bets from pro players and coaches during those weeks.

He had a perpetual turf toe injury for like 2 years in college that flared up on him if he had a bad game.

Edit: also said after he got drafted that he played in Clemson, so he was used to the cold.
