Cal vs Ohio St

Anybody else thinks Cal gots a chance??TOSU played a cupkake and a meh team in UCF to a close win. Pac12 owns B1G right now. Lets not act like TOSU are world beaters as this same team went 6-7 last year. If Cal can get there crap together they will make it close and could pull the upset. If Maynard/Allen are on point they could win. Idk if im willing to call the upset yet, cause Cal got beat by Nevada, but if Ohio dont come to play Cal could beat em. Running Miller 20 times gots to stop also, he aint built like Tebow.

UCF is not really a cupcake. Fairly decent team.
Braxton Miller will win this for the Buckeyes but they have to start being worried about his health if he gets so many carries again.

OSU will win easily and not because they are great but because Cal is just bad. Inexplicably bad considering the talent they have. The fact that Tedford still has that job is mind boggling.

Agree. He is taking too many hits, but they have no other choice. The rest of their offense is sputtering. He looked totally wiped at the end of the UCF game.

We couldn't stop Cody Fajardo so we're not going to stop Braxton Miller, I'd like to see the Cal defense pop him a few times though. I do think we could stay competitive at least for a half and we should be able to pass the ball against them. Can't see a win though.

Once Jordan Hall gets back, this offense should hit another gear. The main reason UCF got the points they did were because of missed assignments in the secondary, that will all get cleaned up in the film room.

No chance is hell. Our team is still learning on the fly. Each week we should be kore prepare, more fluid, and it will show against Cal.

No chance with a 9 am start. Very small chance with a normal start time. Cal has athletes, just their QB has been sucking ass. If he pulls a good game out of his ass, then you never know. Not gonna happen with a 9 am start time.

I think Cal has a chance, but the 11am (9am PST) start time will make it tough.
Cal has the athletes to go toe to toe with tOSU and Keenan Allen will be the best player on the field. Problem for Cal is that their QB is awful. I see them keeping it close, but ultimately losing by 10-14 points.

This. Cal isn't terrible but I find it hard to believe they'll keep up for 60 minutes. Braxton will put the team on his back for as many games he can stay healthy.

Braxton Miller: 17+27=44
Denard Robinson: 10+20=30 *
* Denard's average this year is 15 carries per game. That number is down from 17 carries per game last season.
