This whole thing is a crap shoot. Who coaches these players? What defense/offense do they run? How do the players gel together?
Pure talent alone or how they play on their individual teams they currently are on is not enough criteria to judge this matter.
For that fact I am throwing random blows. Feel free to join.

Apparently, you reference carries over a 3 year time period by 6 players on each side and then cite yards from scrimmage... because, you know, carries and yards from scrimmage correlate perfectly. I always see the stat "Yards from scrimmage per carry". So useful! Did you know that last year, Mike Wallace had 168.6 yards from scrimmage per carry?!?!?!? Dude was all over the field! BEAST!

Haha. I bet it only took NCAA 2 minutes to throw together those teams because he knows every players birthplace and HS from memory. No way he spent another night researching this stuff to bring another stupid thread to us. He's got a life you know.

Why is McCoy not on your list over Gore? Slightly less rush yards, more total yards from scrimmage and higher YPC - his stats would be a bigger bump to the national side by a good bit using the stats you chose to compare. Same goes for Shady over CJ2K. Just curious why you didn't put arguably the 3rd best "national" RB in your comparison.

Third round = almost undrafted? Not PSU's fault teams passed on him because he got in legal troubles.
PSU 2012 First Team All Pros - 2
USC 2012 First Team All Pros - 0Just sad
p.s. there's no reason for you guys to make this a PSU/USC thread. Nobody gives a crap about that.

USC- 14 NFL Hall of Famers, 452 players drafted, and 77 1st round draft picks.
Let's not make this a USC/PSU battle because both fanbases know PSU would get massacred.
Btw, I wasn't trolling, just throwing facts at you and telling it like it is.

to do for Barkley, the next USC QB bust in the NFL? Lord knows you are running out of knee pads every time a Cali player gains a yard.
