Bull crap. That was USC's bowl game.
And the entire season was one example after another of Kiffen and the USC staff doing ZERO second half adjustments. USC was not gassed...they had run out of ideas.
And Oregon was up by 12 at the half in 2010 against USC. Were they "Gassed" in the second quarter?

Was USC's bowl game? It was just another game in a season without a bowl game. If anything, ND was their "bowl" game. Your team had a NC birth on the line. That might NEVER happen again for the Ducks.
No they were gassed. Do you watch or know football, do you understand how rotations work? USC was also leading that 2010 game until 6:00 left in the 3rd quarter, until they ran out of gas. Ran out of ideas? You think that Monte F***ing Kiffin ran out of ideas on defense. LMAO

Yes...Monte Kiffen has run out of ideas. The best talent in the conference and his schemes give up 41 to Arizona, 43 to ASU, 34 to Stanford, and 35 to Oregon.
Its been amusing having USC fans talk up their incredible four game winning streak like they turned some sort of corner. But I still saw the same things from Lane Kiffen that he demonstrated at Tennessee, and what he did to USC as offensive coordinator. His teams play very poorly when the game is close, and the entire staff and team tightens up like they are bomb diffusers in Iraq. Its like Lane was taught the games are three quarters long, and never prepares for a fourth quarter.

You really don't know much about football...or you would see what the rest of CFB fans and sportswriters saw...a young team that improved by leaps and bounds as the season progressed. We took 43 scholarship players to oregon...43 against that fast tempo video game you play.
Whatever, you can say all you want about Lane, but the fact of the matter is, USC won the game with the smallest group of players in USC history. And if Lane is as bad a coach as you say...yours must be worse, he lost the game for you.

No...what I saw was a bunch of USC fans getting all excited over a freaking four game winning streak, with two of those games against UCLA and Utah.
Its amazing how desperate people are for a winner in USC. But I still saw what I saw....a team with a boatload of talent that had a mediocre defense, and poor in game adjustments, most especially on offense. I lost track how many times USC was held scoreless on offense in the 4th quarter. Minnesota? Utah? Oregon? Were there others? How does that happen with that many NFL ready players on that team?
And you are right. Kelly coached a bad game in Eugene. But like I said, he doesnt lose to teams like ASU and Oregon State every single year. And Kiffen has been pulling that same idiotic loss of focus in the fourth quarter his entire career. When he was the OC at USC, I would make the case that the 2006 USC game against UCLA was the worst offensive coaching in the history of the sport. When he was head coach at Tennessee (Go watch the clusterbomb Kiffen puts his team through in the last minute of that 2009 Alabama loss...Its like watching clown college football as Kiffen does his level best to make sure that his team has no chance to win.) And then now this last year, where Kiffen continued his fourth quarter ineptitude all season, yet because they destroyed a horrible UCLA team and held on against Oregon, we have to put up with BCS title dreams from delusional USC fans, until the Utah game knocks them back to Earth in October.

I guess you would rather beat up on ASU, UCLA, and Oregon State and get beat up by Ohio State and Auburn than the other way around. To each his own.
Winning the big games gets you national titles. Winning the small ones gets you participation rings.

Yes...so that MUST mean that USC has turned that corner, and all those season long issues were fixed. Just dust off that BCS trophy for a return to LA.
Magic is so fun. You can make anything happen.

And losing small games gets you bitch fests about being left out of the REAL big games. Oh there was fog...oh it took Cal three overtimes, oh Washington had old USC coaches. Year after year of excuses........its all USC can offer. Excuses.
USC is working on a seven year run of losing games to teams with far less talent, every single year.
But that gives you guys the "excuse" (Theres that word again) of missing out on BCS games against SEC teams.....so instead you can beat up second place Michigan squads and crow about winning those "big games."
I hate to break it to you, but you sound like there are style points in college football. Well in those style points its a hell of a lot less embarrassing to lose to a 13-0 team, than a 5-7 team.

Style points? The nerve of this guy. Oregon actually had a city wide parade for participating in the MNC last year. Not winning it, but participating in it.
, who does that? And, let's not forget about the infamous "12-0" t shirts like the 13th game didn't happen. Also, what about the participation ring? Eugene is style points city. We didn't win shit, but at least we participated in it...
