I never said USC was a "loser"....I said they were consistent underachievers with mediocre coaching and a boatload of talent.
I will call my shot right now. I have almost no idea how good Oregon is next year. I still hate their defensive coordinator, and replacing the offensive talent is going to be much tougher than people think. But I am sure of USC. I know exactly the team that will be on the field next year.
They will lose one of these three games. Guaranteed.
September 22nd against Cal October 4th at Utah October 13 at Washington
I would not be surprised if thats the only game USC loses, but they will, no matter what, lose one of those three games.

Yeah......thats style points right there.
You guys are making my arguments for me. A bunch of delusional prophylactic fans who think that the final record should have asterisks on them, based on how good you looked in specific games.
Its not about the wins and losses with you guys.....its the ignoring of any negatives and the overblowing of any positives.
Its football for pre schoolers.

Dude just oozes little step sister syndrome. Hella mad his team of dress up dolls will NEVER win a NCG. Oregon is so much on their down swing. Couple more years of 9 or 10 win seasons, and its all mediocre seasons from then on.

And losing small games gets you bitch fests about being left out of the REAL big games. Oh there was fog...oh it took Cal three overtimes, oh Washington had old USC coaches. Year after year of excuses........its all USC can offer. Excuses.
USC is working on a seven year run of losing games to teams with far less talent, every single year.
But that gives you guys the "excuse" (Theres that word again) of missing out on BCS games against SEC teams.....so instead you can beat up second place Michigan squads and crow about winning those "big games."
I hate to break it to you, but you sound like there are style points in college football. Well in those style points its a hell of a lot less embarrassing to lose to a 13-0 team, than a 5-7 team.

Yep......but I would not trade places with the USC teams of the next five years at all. Sheesh, the scholarship sanctions have not even hit your little team yet, and still you have managed to use that EXCUSE (That word again) for the falling off in Trojanland. Its going to get deafening in three years, when you are actually missing that depth. Oh the number of games USC will be gassed as being the excuse for playing poorly.............I wonder if I can take a prop bet on that? Over/under 15? 20?

What envy would I have? Three time Pac champs....and they actually did it all three times outright. Why would I feel envy for a program that mortgaged its immediate future on an idiotic coaching hire and is going to spend the next decade making excuses for every loss?

Took Cal three overtimes, and we still have a ring. Won the fog game, and finished 9-4 in 2009 so it didn't matter. Season openers in SEC territory and Rose Bowls, those are the games we win and you lose. You win in Corvalis, congratulations, go throw another parade about it.
Excuses? USC was a trap game for us. But...but...Dennis Dixon got hurt.
I won't even address the style points part because you are a walking fashion show. You are the definition of all style no substance Duck.

Three time PAC champs? Damn thats almost halfway to seven. Congrats, you get a parade.
And your 10 PAC championships are almost as much as 11 national titles, but not quite. You get a participation ring.
Leave the worrying about how to win a NC to the University that knows how to do it, just a little better than you. You get a 12-0 t-shirt.

I didnt make those excuses. And Oregon beat USC the year that Dixon got hurt.
You seem to be incapable of grasping the simple fact that if USC wins the little games, they get to actually play in BIG games.
USC has not played in a bowl game against a great opponent since Texas. Penn State in 2008 was in as bad a Big 10 in history, and had one quality win. Four loss Illinois and second place in the Big 10 Michigan are your claims to fame for "big bowl wins" in that time.
And thats why you are obsessed on this style points thing. You figure that since your team chokes away a game or two every single year, thats excusable, because they beat Illinois in an epic Rose Bowl a couple years back.

Serious question to take away from the flame fest for UO dude. The only reason University of Oregon is good is because of Nike, and I don't mean that negatively. It's just the truth. How long do you think Nike can keep you a float? You guys are the cool program. Cool is kind of a fleeting thing. Just wanted your opinion.
